Default what is the significant difference from other chip??

any reason why you like the GIAC so much???? I'm just so qurious why everybody likes the GIAC all of the sudden.

well, I had a chance to drive a 1.8T with GIAC chip and I couldn't really see the difference from others.

but um...sorry to bug you:| and I don't mean to offend you or GIAC at all!!

Default He sells GIAC and doesn't sell APR.

The GIAC is more aggressive tuning though, that can be bad and good depending on what the driver likes.

Default Between that thread, and watching Category 6.....

I have finally melted away all brain cells left from 2nd grade. I guess I'll start chipping away at 3rd this weekend.

Default you'll wish you had...

with Prestige being as friendly as they are...I have 5k on mine, not a hint of a problem with the chip or Hyperboost DV upgrade. Just a thought, but if you don't do it, you'll wonder why you drove that car for so long w/o it.

Default Contrary - when you drove my avant you mentioned numerous times

the smooth distribution of power throughout acceleration vs. it dropping off like others.

I have heard of plenty. Make the decision yourself. Both APR and GIAC have dyno sheets and they are both very different. Giac starts at the same HP at 1000 rpm where APR is already +10 hp. Audi S4 figures.
