It appears that I will be doing an overnight stay in CO Springs sometime next week. While I'm there, I would like to stay in a decent hotel and possibly take in a movie. That being said, I am looking to you CO Springs natives to point me in the right direction.
MovieTickets.com lists the following Springs cinemas (so as to show I did some homework):
- Picture Show at Citadel Crossing
- Carmike 10 Springs
- Kimball's Twin Peak Theatre
- Cinemark Tinseltown USA Springs
- Cinemark Carefree Circle
- Carmike Chapel Hills 15
So, what do you say?

Cheyenne Mountain Inn conference center. Large conference-style place with decent rooms and rates - about 1/2 the price of the Broadmoor, but without the swank effect.
The only restaurant recommentdations I can make are 1) The Pepper Tree on 8th St. (I think). 2) MacKenzie's Chop House, downtown. MacKenzies is more typical steakhouse, Pepper Tree is a bit more singular, I like it better.
I grew up in CS, visit frequently still since I have family there.

I agree with Broadmoor and Tinseltown... dinner at the Goldne Bee is a must and if you like cigars and brandy- check out the cigar bar by the Broadmoor lake.
