Default Colorado Vanity Plates - How to get them etc.

Hi Folks:

I'd asked this question deep in another thread and it's not had a response so I thought I'd create a new thread.

I cannot seem to find any information online about how to acquire vanity plates in Colorado. Can someone point me in the right direction please?

Default Basically...I'm going through the same process..

Assuming you already have CO plates..
download this form, follow instructions, and wait. If you are registering for the first time, you can take this form to the lic office and give it to them.

go to form dr2810

Default The quick way...

I just went through the process. The quickest way I found was to go directly the Department of Revenue building at 18th and Pierce Street (303) 205-5607. They can look up any plate you want right there and tell you if its taken. Then if not, you pay your $35 bucks right there and avoid 6 weeks of the delay. Got em' pretty quick after that directly from my county office.
Good Luck!

Default Just fill out the paperwork at DMV, pay your $35 and wait 10 weeks.
