I recently had some work done on my local shop, and they told me that they noticed that two of my control arms need replacing sooner or later... and they explained thats where all my noise was coming from.
Now, they told me it would cost upwards of $600 to fix them. Unfortunatly I dont know any more details about which ones other than two of them. But does that price sound right? Sounds kinda high to me... and can anyone tell me when else I can go... I went to autoworks colorado

Thanks for that site, I called and asked how much they control arms were and they said around $260 a piece... which means that site is less than half.

I didn't see what kind of Audi you had. Mine is a 96 2.8 12V. Anyway, both my lower front control arms were shot. (bushings and ball joints) Awful squeaking noise. I got Meyle control arms from ECS tuning for $120 each. Was going to install them myself, but ran out of time. Looks like your up in Boulder and don't know any good shops up there. I had mine put in at Champagne Motors in Englewood. They had them installed in 1.5 hours totaling $160. Hope this helps.
