Craigs List sure brings out the ripoff's
In an effort to clean house, and free up some money, the wife and I have been trying to get rid of some stuff we don't need or use.
I posted like 4 items on there, and some of the ripoff emails I have gotten have been great. One of the items we are trying to sell is the treadmill that we don't use, I have had several out of state people offering to send me personal checks for the amount plus shipping, asking that I ship immediately. Um, yeah sure, and pigs fly, cows talk, and my wife's turns into a supermodel. One emailed me via Craigslist wanting me to ship it to them in Florida via UPS. Yeah right, this sucker weighs about 300 lbs, no way is UPS picking that up.
One thing I have noticed, is the ripoff's have a hard time with that english spelling and grammer, seem to be something that confounds them.
