Default Do I really need a c-clamp to change pads and rotors?

Since I got that tremendous quote to do my brake pads I decided to DIY. I was reading the tech article about it and realized that I don't have a c-clamp. Do I really need it? Any advice would be appreciative.

TIA

on the front, it helps, for the rear, you need the rear caliper tool.

Default It helps

On the fronts you need something to push the piston back into the caliper. On the rear you need to do this also, but need a way to push and turn at the same time. You can use a c-clamp or go the Harbor Freight Tools and buy their brake kit, it makes life easier...

Caliper tools

AutoZone rents the rear caliper tool and C clamps are cheap.

Default That's the best way....

That which does not kill you only makes you stronger and wiser. I live in Morrison and work over off of Hampden and federal. You're welcome to borrow the tol set.
