Does someone have a guilty concious?

I only asked a simple question and have got nothing but avoidance.

I heard about this "other" event (The one in Colorado Springs) at the beggining of 2004 via their email distro list for previous show participants.

So my question is who would have the nerve to plan a first year event on the same day as a 3rd year proven event.

It only distracts from both events and I fail to see the positive spin here.
Sounds very spiteful to me, but then again nobody seems willing to share the truth here. I do not personally know the organizers of the event in Colorado Springs, however I have met them before and they are a very dedicated group of enthusiasts.

I wouldn't consider 2 hours a long trek to attend an event.

I've crossed state lines numerous times to attend events.
Honestly I would have appreciated the opportunity to attend both events. Looks like that won't happen this year. However I did take some time to search some archived topics on VW Vortex in reference to this situation. It's all very clear to me at this point. I can safely say I wouldn't associate myself with a group such as the organizers of this Poker Run after what I've spent the last couple hours reading. Planning an event out of spite because you don't like someone?
How do you claim to be a messenger jonbaker when I see your name all over this topic as a key player on VW Vortex.
Kindergarten starts up soon, I suggest all of you enroll and get started on your journey to becoming adults. Two thumbs down to the spiteful organization of this event.

From the looks of the response on VW Vortex it seems to me that there doesn't appear to be a lot of enthusiam for this Poker Run from the VW Community. Seems odd
