Fatal Motorcycle accident last night on I-25 Northbound?
I was driving I-25 southbound last night when I noticed cop cars everywhere on the northbound side of the highway a little north of the university exit. I noticed a motorcycle and a helmet nearby laying on it's side next to the side of the highway with two copcars nearby it. Then about 100 ft south of that there were at least 10 cop cars and several officers with flashlights peering down onto the street, probably looking at a dead body, I dont know. Just wondering if anyone knows what happened exactly. I can't find any stories about it on any of the local news websites. It was big enough to close off a large chunk of the highway, and they were diverting all northbound traffic through the university exit it appeared.

we saw that too, around 11pm. Hard to see anything...
we figured a fatality because the highway was shut down. That group of police was prolly more like 1,000ft away from the bike because you couldn't really see them from where the bike was laying. They were a lot of guys taking pictures a recording with video cameras.

There was a brief story on 9news, but nothing signiifcant. We were there too - southbound
Based on the distances, I would say that the fatality came off the bike on initial impact and he made it further before crashing/coming off. If the bike went that far o it's own, wiping out immediately after impact, they were seriously moving.
