Default Fender Rolling Recommendations?

I need to roll my fenders for some new wheels I'm getting. Is it easy enough that with a fender roller and a heat gun I could do it? I'm just worried about damaging the paint by not heating it up enough or too much. How much would a shop charge? If it's a $100 or less I'd just have them do it since the tool rental is $50 anyways. Any shop recommendations for doing this? TIA.

Wagonboy has a good technique involving water pump pliers and a hammer. LOL.

Default Hey, don't knock the GFRT (Ghetto Fender Rolling Technique)

No matter what you think, it works. Never had a rubbing tire again, did we? It may have looked like A$$ but the results can't be argued! Besides, race cars only have to look good from 50ft away!

Default On a serious note...

Pete at the Tire Source in Boulder has been known to lend out his fender roller to customers/members of this forum. You might give him a call as it might save you on the equipement rental cost. 303-443-3021
