Default Ford GT40! Kill...

Found myself sitting at a light next to a Red Ford GT40 on the way back from the car show and dinner. (long open road with no one in sight)

Light changed colors and I jumped on the gas hoping he would follow. He let me get about 6 car lenths out before he decided to show off. That thing was impressivly fast, even watching him close the gap in the rear view mirror was impressive.

He came up along side and hung out for a second or two and then shut it down to make the next turn. He never actually overtook me so I guess technically I win right;-)?

Default I disagree...You got to try, right!

Even if it is a fruitless effort.

Default I had a similar spirited experience with a red porsche turbo convertible over the weekend...

we literally must have ran a good 60 miles around most of 470 and I-70 eastbound, including a good section of I-225 this past saturday. I was ENTHRALLED with how well my measley 180hp TT held up to him. Neither of us were reckless by any means but when he would 'get on it' for a few mins out in the open with no traffic, so would I. And no matter how loud his tailpipes got, I would manage to creap up quickly behind him and stay on his tail comfortably. It was a very exciting experience.

Maybe, but they will never be as nice. If I wanted fast, I'd buy an STi
