It originally came with Ultegra 8-speed. I rebuilt it a couple of years ago with DuraAce 9-speed and a Look carbon fork. One of these years I'll break down and get a Ti bike. I haven't raced much...a few TTs and hill climbs is all...no road races, no crits. I ride to stay fit and so I can eat whatever I want. 8^) I may do some mtn bike racing, if I ever get my bad ankle fixed.

BTW - My wife took me to France last year to watch Lance do the 3-peat...trip of a lifetime (unless we go to watch him win #6 in a couple of years). 8^)

I've seen these R-28s - they look great in 16" - they make great winter wheels
