Default Yes, I was there last March.

I loved it. Your guide will know where to go. If your not familiar with how it works, they split you up in morning in the parking lot based on those who don't mind hiking versus those that don't really want to. They assume that if you are there, then you probably are good skier or boarder so the groups are not really based on ability level. My only, very small gripe was that we only did one run on the big open backside (Pope Face)and then went into the trees (Colorado, Dolores) for most of the day. I loved the Tiger Claw and the chute below it (Tiger Main?). It was all great and you'll be as tired as ever.

Default Yup, I was there last December...

EPIC.. i did unguided and found a ton of fun stuff..

hit up larry, moe, and curly to warm up on; then move onto the big steeps...... Plus, you'll be with a guide unless there is a window of unguided that im unaware of..

it's serious business down there.... there are a few sketch parts and a lot of wind blown cornices, so just be careful..... just know backcountry skills, and you'll be fine..

i wore my avalung, and i suggest the same to you....

oh yea, take a heli run; my bro that lives in durango called it "powder heaven."
