Know the owners personally, so claim bias if you'd like, but...
They've a FULL LAND USE PERMIT...
"Step 2: Obtain Permits
Done. This step is usually not done this early on in the process. We felt it was important to get it out of the way before proceeding since it tends to be one of the biggest hurdles for race track development these days, as witnessed by the many past track projects that have died in the zoning process. We've spent countless hours handling legal issues and making sure we could get the land properly permitted for our use. At this time, we are the only race track proposal that has land and a perpetual land use permit, which is a huge barrier to cross. The people of Lincoln County, the Lincoln County Land Use Board, Lincoln County Commissioners and Lincoln County Economic Development Corp. have stood behind the development of this project. We would like to thank everyone that has helped us get where we are today. You all have been very supportive."
- track designed, support of county, a country club with proposals for teams to set up at track.
"The Genoa Motorsports Country Club race track will be a 6.26 mile dual-circuit with about 115 feet of elevation change road course available for private Country Club membership use (contact us for info on membership) as well as car and motorcycle club rental and open test and tune use."

Notice continual updates with printed articles, a professional website with professional track engineers and designers, sponsors logos placed on website, professional track and site rendering. Groundbreaking soon... my money is with Genoa...
"It's large; it's got water on the site and the ability to do everything we want to do with it," said Thake. "It really is a very unique site."
