Default Highest mechanic recommendations for timing belt/waterpump replacement in CO...?

Denver metro if possible, I live in SE Aurora. And what did you all pay to have yours done? I'm trying to get a average cost to know what I'm in for $$$-wise. Thx.

Around 1400 is what I paid. He did a good job, but I'm probably not going back.

Default Call Bob @ Euromotion (303) 722-2595 Broadway & Evans

My family has used this guy for years. He just did my 94 100 T-belt etc..He's surviced it for the last 4 years or so. I want to say it was maybe $1400 or $1500 for full 60K service incl timing belt, waterpump etc.. They do Porsche/Audi/MB. I can say that there have been plenty of time he could have screwed my mother (based on her limited car knowledge) and he's been completely straight up. Honestly the first mechanic I've trusted. Once the S is out of warranty I'll take it there for sure. Good luck

Default You may even want to try setting up something with a few guys in the area to DIY

That's what six of us did a couple months ago. It worked out great. Just set aside a full day, order the ultimate TB kit from ECS and be sure somone in the group has some idea of what's going on. One day's work to save yourself a $1000 bill (net) is a good deal in my opinion.
I think there are a few guys around here that are in your shoes, so I'd think you'd be able to get a group together.
Of course, if you don't want to DIY, call Larry @ Champagne.

Default I know...

I know, in 20 years I haven't found anyone else who I didn't doubt every move. I'm a tough customer believe me.
