Me and I assume n52audi18t. BTW, your car is sick. Meant to come over and check out the setup but too busy driving and changing tires!
So the track was sketchy being surrounded by ice/snow and all. Still it was fun. I got some sweet video from my camcorder I had mounted to the roof. I need to figure out how to download though.
Took a couple pics.
Here's what I do to brand new brake pads. What better way to bed them in than take them to the track?

Here's just a shot of the car. Notice the parking lot conditions. Earlier that day it was all snow/ice/water/mud.

Mission Cord the Tires accomplished, sir! Now I can chunk those R compounds and get some new race tires in the spring.

There were a few M3's, couple Audi's, couple other Bimmers, an NSX, couple sweet Porsche's, and a supercharged Focus!
This was only my second time out there on the track and I still don't have a clue what I'm doing. I think I was running 1:26's or so (I'm sure the snowboard racks added a good 10 seconds. Ha!) I actually felt better with ESP on than off even though it may have slowed me in spots.
One positive note for me was that I was on the NSX's rear for a lap before he finally waved me by. Then over the next couple of laps I pulled a good 5 seconds ahead of him before I pulled it in. The driver actually came over later and asked what I had done to make the wagon so fast!
I was told by two different guys that I was shooting flames from my exhaust whenver I downshifted into second. I might actually have one on tape. Gonna go through it here in a bit. Plus there might be some footage of me when I almost lost it on the back straight. Luckily I saved the spin and it just become a really cool drift instead!
Anyways, it's too bad more Audi's couldn't make it out.
It was a good time and I forgot to get my free lunch!
Hopefully I'll see ya'll out there next year!

BTW, once I figure out how to download video to my computer, can anyone host it for me or at least tell me where I can do it? Thanks.

Had the three week old (to me) 993 out for the first time. I was VERY careful, an off meant a long slide in the snow and ice, ending who-knows-where.
Car is bone stock with Kumho Ecsta Supra's. Quite a contrast from the MINI and the A4!
I was pretty white-knuckled the first time out, not knowingthe car and really not wanting to go off. Car was floating throught the esses onthe back straight, I dropped some air out of the front tires and that helped, though I never did keep my foot in it all the way down the back straight. My best times were in the 1:23's.
There were some nice cars there: Van's avant, Chris's very nice B5 with stand alone engine mgt, the NSX, a vintage 911 racer, some nice bimmers, a shifter cart... A good day,wel organized by Mike I hope it's not my last experience at the Creek!

Thanks to everyone who came out, turned in to an awesome day at the track!
I really appreciate all the help in the morning getting the track dry(somewhat) for everyone in the afternoon.
Hopefully this won't be the last time that we will be able to run at SCR. The meeting is Monday evening at the Commerce City Hall, anybody who can make it should show up. Sounds like things just got bad for SCR as of Friday.
Again, Thank you very much glad to see everybody had fun!

Although I didn't show up until 12:30, I still got a good amount of driving in before 5 PM. The most interesting part about the day was that even though there were M3's, A4/S4's, my Focus, an NSX and a couple of Porsches, it seemed like all the cars on the track were pulling very good, consistent lap times, all withing about 3-5 seconds of each other. After giving Van a bit of the *******, it's remarkable what a little Focus can do when it gets boost! Was pulling about 1:24-1:27 lap times. It will be even more exciting to see what happens when the LSD goes in next year and if the track had been dry on the front straight brake zone. Overall, thanks goes out to SCR and bavarian for setting this up for us, I really appreciated it! Hopefully today's city council meeting goes well (cross fingers), read about it in the Obituary section of the RMN today.
