My wallet is the one who is against the V6
And my gas bill!
I LOOOOOOOOOOVED my 2.7T A6, abd I would love another V6, but I am all about budget right now.
All the V6's seem to be around $5K+, too rich for my blood right now.

...they're certainly doable for $3500-$4000 with around 100-120k mi. I'd say $2500-$3000 for over 150k.
Champagne has a nice burgundy <A HREF="http://www.autotrader.com/redirect/redirect.jsp?to_url=/dealers/view/vdetail.jsp?productWebsite=champagne&car_id=176056 224&mis=IVNLBDLNDS59&dealer_id=576252">'95 90 quattro</A> they've had for a few months...119k...asking $5k (not a bad starting point). Plus it's a really late '95 (one of the last ones to hit US shores - which is a good thing). I stopped and looked at it a month or so ago...nice looking/seems to be in good shape.
Also, a '90/'91 90 quattro 20V is rated at 17 city/24 highway, whereas a '94/'95 90 quattro is rated at 19 city/24 highway...

An Avant is more handy for a new home owner with the Home Depot and gardening supply trips in your future and then your next car can be a 2-door German coupe... like one of these worthy Bavarians "BMW M car collection. 87 M6 and 88 M5 Excellent condition" on sale at http://denver.craigslist.org/car/63039052.html<ul><li><a href="http://denver.craigslist.org/car/63083610.html">1989 Audi 200 TQ Avant - $2800</a></li></ul>
