Installing K04 in a couple weeks, have some ?'s about chip, fpr, altitude
I am going to be putting in a K04 in 2-3 weeks and just wanted to get some opinions on how to tune for altitude. Is there anything special I should consider? Most of my driving is around Denver/Boulder and weekend trips up to the mtns.
My list so far includes: K04 and install kit, Dahlback chip from ASW, 5 bar FPR, APR R1 DV, replacing oil lines, oil change.
Am I missing anything here? Is there anyone in here running a K04 with the Dahlback chip?

Does Dahlback have a regular K04 file??
Or are you running the DB K04 hybrid? I have a K03S DB chip that I am looking to get rid of if you haven't already bought one. I can I can get it re-loaded to any program since I bought it with free upgrades.

From my exp they don't.
You would need to have them write a custom file for you. I got quoted $700 for it. AutoSport Werks (Broomfield) is the local DB rep. Call and talk to Bryan if you want details.
