Default Well, For one I dont do this, Just checking it out because I heard rumors..so...

does that mean its not legal to have a beer open in any colorado road even if the driver isnt drinking just the passenger? I have seen that it varies per county? Info would help.

Default when i first moved here, i assumed it was ok for a while

i kid i met told me you could have open container shortly after i moved up here from arizona. skeptical, i asked a at a liquor store in breck, and they confirmed that it was perfectly legal. i followed this information for most of the ski season, it makes the ride from the resorts to boulder much more bearable. then i asked a group of cops i ran into somewhere....and they laughed at me...i don't think its a very good idea

Default Personally I'd check the driver for drinking and make the passenger pour it out.

If the driver hasn't been drinking all is cool and I'd let you go about your business.
