Old news but may be a start for a track ... NASCAR in Commerce City
I would assume that if they somehow get a NASCAR track then they would have mean to build a new road course. Any of you track junkies know anything in the next couple years? i dont care for NASCAR personally, but i did have a chance to run on Las Vegas Speedway...
this past weekend while i was there....i went on the Andretti Driving Experiance...
im more of a twisty/turny kind of guy, but taking an open wheels car to just shy of 155mph was quite the experience. ive gone nearly that fast in my car, but to have a place where that may be possible on a more regular basis, in a controlled environment would be sweet for sure. the run on the oval was much more fun than i could have ever thought it to be!

I dont care for Nascar either but I would assume ...
I would assume it would be much easier and realistic to get another built for a road course if they approve a NASCAR. I heard a long time ago that it could include the oval/road course and dirt tracks as well in the same grounds? Might have been just hype.

on the infield of Las Vegas is a short road course...still under construction...
as they are revamping that entire track. the bank on turns is now 22 deg versus around 15 before. it seems nearly verticle when you look at it from the infield.
