OT Poll: How many work place professionals have their health care covered by their employer?
#11
I pay $25 for individual coverage. Wife pays $30
If one of us were to go on the other's plan, it would've cost $250. Sorry to hear about yours, Cody. Can Kelly sign you guys on as dependants?

Independent Contractor: Pay for everything! It really adds up...15-25k/yr for full family
coverage for health, dental, disability, and life depending on the provider, number of dependents, and deductibles.

Dental worthless? Try coming into Josh's or my office needing a root canal, filling and crown and
tell me how worthless it is then.
Insurance won't cover all of it, but it sure helps.
Plus most insurances do cover preventitive care 100% and that is in no ones world worthless.

That sucks, I'm sorry that happened. As someone who does provide health care insurance to my
employees I can tell you that the cost has gone up like a rocket headed to Mars the last five years.
For the first time I am considering telling my employess that instead of me paying 85% of the health care premium cost (obviously they cover 15%), that I will freeze the amount I pay as of today and any increase in future premiums will be theirs to bear.
Sucks on your end as well as the other end.
