Default Outside of dealer install, what have you guys done to mount your front license plate?

I finally registered my car in CO today. I previously didn't have a front license plate and would rather not drill into my bumper. I know I could just not put the license plate on, but I'd prefer to not get hassled with tickets and stuff. I've read that some people have used 3M double sided tape, while others have used zip ties. I'm thinking i might go the 3M tape route since it should have the least effect on my front bumper. Anyways, wanted to see what other folks on here are doing. Would be most interested in hearing from the B5 A4 crowd...

thanks

Default i thought about that, too.

in your sig pic, is that front plate stuck on with velcro?
also, that means you have to stick one side of the velcro on the bumper. if you try to remove that, won't you take paint off with it, or conversely, leave residue? i've read that the 3M double sided tape doesn't have this problem?

Default that's not what i meant

i know that stuff is amazingly strong. i was just wondering about how to get the velcro off of your bumper if you want to undo what you've done.

btw, it's definitely good to know that the velcro does hold up, though!
