First, find a lawyer. Good news, bad news. Which do you want first? good news? There's no radar, no accident; what evidence is there that you actually committed a violation?
Bad news? You said that you were driving too fast. That's coming up in court... Judges take a dim view of people contradicting themselves. Suggested defense: Stupidity. You could argue that you were not under oath when speaking to the officer and your statement was a guess based on general knowledge that people get pulled over for driving too fast. Now that you are under oath, tell him you were driving safely and let the lawyer that plays golf with the prosecuting atty get you off. Good luck, you are hosed.

I'm an attorney in WA state and routinely get people out of tickets here. Last year I even got a guy out of a 133 in a 60 mph zone. Also last year I participated in Players Run. www.playersrun.com. We went through Denver and up to Aspen. On our way out of Aspen 6 of us got pulled over for 110 to 120 in Silt, CO. I hired a lawyer, and it is not on my record. I'm sure you can find an attorney in the Denver area.
