Perhaps an odd question: Anyone know a good jewelry appraiser?
It's all Reggie's fault. I bought a bunch of jewelry in Hong Kong, and need it appraised for insurance (and curiosity) purposes.

No - have not bought jewelry here in CO - only the Bay Area.
I would probably call my insurance company or one of the high end stores at Cherry Creek for recommendations

John Kalkorst at William Crow on the 16th street mall. They are up in a
building there, can't remember the exact address or phone number, but they give very accurate appraisals.

Unless something has changed in the last couple of years, JK isn't there anymore.
We used to deal with him exclusively, but we were told that he has moved on. It would be nice to know where he is these days, although my wife still visits William Crow when she is downtown.
I'm not expert on jewelry, but I do like the way they work there much more than the chain stores.

He is personal friends with my parents, I will check with them and find out where he is
regardless, great shop. I have also dealt with Steve Bewley there.
I know JK and his wife got divorced, but I was unaware that he left William Crow. I know my mom still talks with Joanie, so I will do some finding out.
