Couple of questions:

1. What is the full address of the coffee shop so I can Mapquest it?
2. What time are you planning on entering the toll gate. Just curious what traffic is normally like, and what might be a smart time to head up.
3. Where is the staging area? I have a buddy who is in the pit crew for a VW Golf that will be racing and it might be nice to poke around the pits before heading up.

1) 727 manitou avenue, manitou springs, co, 80829

2) we are driving out of manitou at 6am sharp, that puts us at the toll gate twelve minutes later. as a group, i plan that we will pass the glen cove area about half an hour before it closes to uphill traffic. if the group wants to leave a little earlier to cushion, i'm open to it.

3) the pits are at the bottom of the spectating area and there is no way to travel up or down the hill from around 7:17am to 3-6pm. if you want to stop, look around, and then head up, you'll probably want to drive up out of manitou by 5 or so, to give yourself a chance to really see the cars<ul><li><a href="http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=1460139">link to some practice pics, if you haven't seen'em already</a></li></ul>
