The last time I got a ticket I met with the DA first. No Judge. That was in Golden.

It was an unmarked car driving in the right lane. He got me going 58/45 moving in traffic. To be truthful I think I was going about 58.

if he was in the car, he might have been shooting between the mirror an door frame for a point of reference, I have seen Arvada do this a lot.

has happened to me once and a buddy of mine.. That's why I always ask to see the radar gun if I get pulled over for speeding..

I cannot stress this enough. There is NO requirement to show a violator his clocked speed. If this has happened to someone in the past, it was strictly a courtesy given to you by the officer and was that officer's decision.

she "clocked" me at 95 in a 65.

me: "I don't mean to be an annoyance, but may I please see the gun that you clocked me with?"

her: (kinda fumbled a little over her words), "I don't have to show you. I don't see a front license plate"

ended up being cited for no front plate instead of 30mph over.

go figure.

The one on the road from Golden never set it off. I have no idea what th deal is there, and the ones on Table Mesa used to but now they don't. Thinking I might need to send teh V1 in for a tune up...
