Default Question about Jackson Hole...

So, i'm heading out to Jackson Hole next week. It'll be my first trip there. Was just wondering how snowboard friendly the mountain is. Are there a lot of catwalks to get around on?

thx

Default depends...the backcountry riding off the mtn is definitely only ski friendly, but inbounds isn't bad

Stay around places like the ho-backs and the former tram lines and you'd be happy

Cool, thanks for the tip. One more question... Any recommendations for discounted lift tickets?

Corbet's is kinda flat. You might wanna get some speed before hitting it.

Default Steep. If there is no fresh snow this mountain is an *** kicker......

When no new snow it's chopped up and icy as hell. The mountain gets a lot of sun during the daytime. If there IS fresh snow that mountain could be one of the best in the country. Hiking 1-3hrs out of bounce on the resort or on the pass will still lead you to other peoples tracks. It's simply amazing how many people just hike **** to ride one run a day out there.

Default very cool. i'm not much of an out-of-bounds guy. i guess i'm just lazy like that. ;-)

i'm seeing that Jackson Hole should be getting snow all week, so hopefully the conditions will be good for me next week!
