Question concerning Colorado emissions requirements, modifications, and inspections

As long as your car has all the required emissions equiment for the year/model and it passes the chassis dyno run tailpipe emissions within the limits, you'll have no problem.
Audifreakjim's car is a prime example of how easy it is to pass. My supercharged Civic is another. In other words, regardless of the mods, if it's tuned well, it'll pass.
They don't really care what's under the hood as far as modifications go, as long as they see what they are looking for (cat. converters, etc..)
You test every other year for $25/test. If you fail (which my Civic has when not running the appropriate ECU program) you get one re-test for free within 10 days.

they say the car is too low. I come back without mudguards, and different wheels/tires and there's no problem even though the ride height has not changed at all.
