Saw a test mule driving the opposite way on 70 today by Idaho Springs. It wasn't an audi as the front grill was too sloped. Anyone know who else does testing around here? It was some sort of sedan, or longer coupe. Maybe a mercedes, or Acura or something? Hard to tell will all the stupid black stuff all over it.

I've seen Toyota and GM driving up and down Pikes Peak and Mt Evans. Covered in vinyl skins and filled with telemetry equipment. They seem to like the altitude and mountains for stressing their cars/suv's.

A couple of years ago, we had a couple of Cayennes and Touaregs following us up Mt Evans.

Last year I saw the new Mustang in Breck.

Yes, especailly in the late spring and end of summer using MT Evans. I remember seeing a line of Audi TTs up there just before they hit the market. \
Saw a handful of A3s this summer, saw a few C6 A6s last Spring. A lot of these testers stay at the hotel at Denver West Parkway (Marriot Denver West) because it is secluded and has super quick highway access.

all the manufacturers do testing here in Colo. I live right on part of the North Denver test loop (104th&I-76 area). If they are testing it in Denver area, I have probably seen it. Several new SUV's, several Jap. sedans, especially what appears to be a Mitsu.. The SRT-8 300C has been prowling this area since July, mostly at night and on weekends, I have talked to the driver a couple of times. Ford and Dodge are real common to see testing trucks in the mtns. Watch for the Dodge testing mules, there is a Durango that has been lugging a travel trailer around that weighs almost 10K, almost 2K more than the vehicle is rated at.
