Default Thanks Brian, little higher mileage than I want, And I would have to give the deposit back for my

car, however, it is taking a while to finish the transaction..........

Default The avant needs motor mounts and torque converter ($1700). so in the low 11's. Boulder is having

people bid on the GT-R. I would by one in a second if I could find one for sticker price. All the one;s left I have found have at least a 10k dealer bump on them.

Default I just drove an '02 a few days ago, good stuff, very comfy too and all the good P car noises..

that make you smile (plus the boost ain't bad either). Driving older 911's usually just makes me home sick for the one I sold (same old story everyone seems to have about some car they used to have), but driving the 996TT just makes you want a 996TT and you forget purty darn quickly about all the older stuff.. ;-)

Default I've never driven a P-car, guess I'd better avoid doing so too! Was considering a Carrera 4...

when I bought the S4. Found a high milage one in good shape. Last year of the air cooled engines as I recall (I'm not a Porsche buff) and -almost- drove it. Decided I needed a trunk and 4 door would be nice with the kids and passed. Might have dodged getting some kind of terminal illness. ;-)

Default You need to, it's a car everyone needs to own once, or twice, or... ;-)

Near bombproof build quality on most things and a seriously gratifying car to learn how to drive to the limit with issues like trailing throttle oversteer.

I think a 911SC and / or the later Carrera coupe (pre 964) should be labeled one of the ten best cars ever built. Simple, awesome lines, and built like a sherman tank, plus they are getting so cheap, almost a no brainer.

Default I haven't heard of 996TT RMS issues. The 2nd gear issue was on the 01s from what I heard.

They are still far more reliable than a B5 S4.
