Default Shop for mounting/balancing?

Getting 4 new tires from tirerack.com soon... Anyone have a good recommendation for a shop to get them mounted? I'm in Broomfield right by ASW but anywhere in the Boulder/Denver area is fine as long as they'll do a good job and have fair prices.

Thanks guys!

Where'd you go?? Or did you yet? I almost bought some rubber from TireRack...if I had I was going to have the tires shipped directly to Big O Tires, they're all over the place especially in the Thornton area. They only charge $10 per tire to mount. I think that's a pretty fair price and it's a big chain so you have recourse for issues. Just a thought and curious where you had yours done and how well they did.

I've had good experience with the Big-O by my house. They are franchises so it's a matter of finding a place you like. If you don't mind driving, Tire Source in Boulder is just awesome. In fact, you should check with them for tires, you would be surprised. You may be able to buy the tires and have them mounted and the wheels balanced for what you pay tire rack.

I just used the Big-O at 104th and Colorado for the tires I just got from TireRack, $17/wheel mounted and balanced, and disposal of shot tires that were already mounted.

Called around to a few places (Big-O and Discount) and that one was the cheapest. The Discount across the street from them wanted $25/wheel.

Cheers!

Nice...Big O seems to work with you more if you "haggle". They're more of a mom-and-pop type store, even for a chain. They're individually owned so you can negotiate A LOT more. Discount has begun to suck IMHO.

I use Barnsley in Boulder for mounting and balancing and have always been pleased with the results. I just bring in wheels as I prefer to do the rest myself.
