Earlier today I noticed a loose spalsh guard thingey in front of the LR tyre, and I wanted to get it sorted out before it fell off and cost more to put right.
I called Phil Long Audi here in COS, and they had the fastener in stock for under $3.
I ran down there and the part came out under $2!
I then decided to let them afix the part as it was as simple as driving a screw.
It took a while, but most of the time was spent on . . . washing my car!
The repair is done, minor as it was, but with all the slush & crud on the ground I am relieved.
The total cost came to about what the car wash alone would have been.
Oh, yeah, they also had a black R8 on the grounds, and that would have been worth the trip all by itself . . .</font>
