So my sister and her family just put their car in the ditch going 50...
...and they're totally fine. No injuries or anything. I went and picked them up, got back to Mom & Dad's place, and they got a call from the Sheriff. He said someone else spun off the road in the same location and hit their van while it was sitting in the ditch.
*sigh*
What are the chances of that!?
Oh well, I guess that makes it more likely that they'll just consider it totalled instead of trying to fix the existing damage.

There is some truth to the fact that if one car goes off in a spot - a second can go at the same
place - I've seen it as a corner worker in races and if you remember the Linkin Park Video of WRC they have the same thing there.

yep. a couple yrs back I was coming back from hunting on I-76
and long story short, we rolled and flipped my buddy's truck. He was driving and the roads were literally a sheet of ice. We were way out past Sterling too so in bfe. Well about a week later we find out that some old high school buddys' parents wrecked in almost the same exact spot as us about 1 hr earlier than us.
