Default Turbo Timers

Are they worth it? '01 A6 2.7T, I know enough to let it cool down after hard driving, heck I have to do it with the semi, I'm more worried about the wire cokeing these things. If so, who can install one and how much to install.

I have a greddy and can get you one. A buddy and I do all of our own work and would be more than to install it for you for really cheap or maybe some beer.

Are you able to make it work with the security system?

Default It's pretty easy to install with the alarm in tact.

If any of you are in Colorado Springs, I can do the install as well.

Default I have an 04 A4 and would be very interested.

As I am growing tired of sitting in my car waiting for the cool down. I do make it down to the springs as it it not far (I live in south south Denver. Would be willing to compensate for time/trouble. BTW I like your install and your wheels.....

Default Hmmm...i've never installed one on a B6 before.

I'm sure I can do it, but you might be better off paying a shop for the 1-1.5 hours it takes. Sorry, I just know i've read of some issues with the factory alarm and turbo timers on the newer A4/S4's. I wouldn't feel comfortable working on a B6 for the first time unless it were my own. That is, unless you're comfortable with it?
