Turbo Timers

Are they worth it? '01 A6 2.7T, I know enough to let it cool down after hard driving, heck I have to do it with the semi, I'm more worried about the wire cokeing these things. If so, who can install one and how much to install.

As I am growing tired of sitting in my car waiting for the cool down. I do make it down to the springs as it it not far (I live in south south Denver. Would be willing to compensate for time/trouble. BTW I like your install and your wheels.....

I'm sure I can do it, but you might be better off paying a shop for the 1-1.5 hours it takes. Sorry, I just know i've read of some issues with the factory alarm and turbo timers on the newer A4/S4's. I wouldn't feel comfortable working on a B6 for the first time unless it were my own. That is, unless you're comfortable with it?
