Default Powderhoud rack rocks...

I've been running it for about 5 years now, and no problems.

I'm using a Big Powderhound. I'm swapping it for a Thule Flattop 6 tonight, purely for asthetics

Default I really like the flattops....

They work much better than the old Thule stuff. The only thing I've noticed is that I get a whistling from them.

I stuffed some closed cell foam backer rod between the load bars and the bottom of the ski mount and it fixed it. (if that happens to you)

It eventually dried out and finaly blew out after a little over a year. This year, I think I'll get some rubber hose from the parts store to fil the gap.

Default Not the powderhounds I don't believe....

If I remember right, I got the Liftticket 6. Got em so long ago that I've forgotten. I went and looked at em just a second ago and it doesn't say anywhere on there what model they are.

Sorry. I'm willing to bet that they're the Lifticket 6 though.

Default I'd stay away from Yakima, I think they've since changed their system but

their board racks with the red buttons were crap. They racheted down with these strips that would break or strip out. Thule makes a much better rack, IMO.

I hear what your saying but I purchased the mounts and Crossbar about a week ago so Yakima it is.
