Welding and composite fab courses - any good ones in Denver?

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/117798/111_1185.jpg"></center><p>Contact General Air (located right off I-25 and 8th Ave.) They have (at least they used to) weekend beginner welding classes that will have you welding in no time. I believe these classes are geared toward entry level welders that just want to learn the process and nothing else (like welding symbols and how to read structural welding blue prints). For what you want to do, I wouldn't waste your money on a college welding class unless that is what you want to do for a living. Also, I wouldn't waste your time or money buying a MIG machine but would shell out the extra cash and buy a decent, entry level TIG machine from the get go. I first started with a cheap MIG but looking back I wish I had just bought a TIG machine from the start. I personally (my opinion) would not let a MIG machine touch any car related (especially german car) welding project. MIG definetley has its place but you can do so much with a TIG machine that you will find yourself rarely using MIG once you've TIG welded. Also, don't even think about touching a car (even a Honda) with a Stick welder. If you live near the DU area, maybe we can get together some weekend when it warms up and burn some stuff together.
