Default that is a sad day.

too bad about the A4. but your other choices sound pretty good.

we have a 330, and there isn't much room in the back of the 3 series. one child seat fits OK, 2 would be really tight. be happy to show you if you want to check it out.

Default wow. might I say you put a lot of love into that car and it is/was beautiful.

good luck in your future cars. I like the S40, but the consol is kinda weird. Girl I work w/ has one and it's good looking from the outside and has good room inside, but I couldn't do the consol.

Default I'll have to check out the S60...

I've got some rather difficult criteria to meet- Must be small and compact on the outside but roomy on the inside. Sheesh... Is it just me, or do girls just want it all? Okay... dumb question

I think the only way we'll be able to determine what's right is to just hit the dealerships and start driving cars... Ugh.

Thanks for the input

Default Interesting... I wonder if the V50 wagon will yield a few inches of leg room (maybe?)

Now that I think about it, the wife and I are both pretty short people. I'm all of 5'5" and she's 5'3", so we keep the seats pulled up pretty far. With this in mind... Maybe some of these models may have *just* enough leg room in back?

The B5 that I have is quite cramped, even with the seats forward as much as they are. The baby seat barely fits...

Default Thanks for the kind words Deno!

I'll have to check out the interiors of all the cars we've got in mind. I am not sure that the cabins and ergonomics are a huge priority for my better half, though I am sure that stuff would drive me nuts (if I wasn't a fan of the design).

Not to digress, but how's the family restaurant going so far?
