So, a week ago I replaced the thermostat on my pickup, only to have it start leaking. So I decided today to go ahead and replace the thermo, upper hose and water neck. Get everything changed out, add coolant, have the wife start it. I tell her to run the engine to about 2K rpms and hold it there. Let the engine warm up, get everything flowing. Well, all is fine until at one point the coolant starts srpaying out, instead of letting off she continues to rev the engine, spraying me and everything else in coolant. All that lovely spray, was over a gallon and a half of coolant. So now, I have to go and have the entire system flushed as I have no clue as to what my mix level is now.

That sucks, @ least it was cool. Why not drain and refill instead of taking it in
