I had begun preparations on my At 2.0T quattro to try for the 150 Club this year. Too much water on the salt flats is causing them to cancel the event.

We spent several hours on Thursday night putting in my roll bar and getting things ready to go.

I'm seriously bummed out about this. I was also going to be giving details this week about the VW/Audi day for the local VW and Audi clubs on the 17th that I had arranged with the USFRA.

Only 30 people have made it since 1995. Even the 130 Club is more difficult than you'd think.

Unless you've been out there and tried you'll never know. Why don't you come out next year and try for one of them?
