Would I be able to pass CO emission tests with 2 O2 codes related to my piggie pipes?

no, because the readiness tests will fail. plus you'll have a CEL.

So if I can fix the CEL, then I (theoretically) should be golden?

I don't think they can automatically fail you for a CEL anymore.

Default why'd you have O2 codes for piggies though, that shouldn't happen.

They used to use an OBD scanner to check the readiness, but it's been a while. Basically, when you clear the CEL, it resets the readiness codes. Takes 50 miles or so of driving to get them to adapt.

Default Hmmm. Everytime I clear them, they usually come back in 50 miles.

I'm not a VAG guru, but is there something I'm supposed to do to keep them cleared? They shop relocated the 02s, but I've had this CEL ever since then. I have some small pin holes in the welds where I can see exhaust is getting out, and I tried swapping the sensors around too. Thanks for the insight!

Default I passed mine with my cats burned out. they keep tripping lower o2 inefficiency codes

my cel was on but i dont know if it is the programming that flagged a code they couldnt find or what but they still passed me. that was in mid august

Isn't the second test free? If you have the time to spare it can't hurt to try.
