Information:
Weight Savings - Along with the amazing fade resistance the rotors shed over 50% of the weight of stock rotors on an RS6/7 and the service life in some cases is 10x that of conventional RS6/7 rotors. The reduced unsprung weight of the entire system provides a quickness to the steering feel and helps to reduce the pendulum effect on the suspension that high unsprung weight can cause because of heavy brake components.

Fade Resistance - Using ceramic rotors as the heart of the system helps to virtually eliminate any and all fade when used repeatedly and as an added bonus no brake dust to contend with.

Performance - The ceramic rotors are matched with proper pads for ideal operation on the street as well as the track, these do not need to be heated up for regular street use.

Are the calipers actually different than the steel version? They look to be the same so I was wondering if you could just swap the rotors, add the caliper extension and brake booster and call it a day?

Uncertain as to the pad shape being the same between steel and ceramic front calipers along with the 20mm difference in rotor sizing. With that said at this sale price point this whole set of ceramic brakes costs less than purchasing all the other items without calipers to reuse your own and no need to try and space calipers at all...
