KBB has RS6s listed around mid $45K. What really is the fair market for one with warranty?

Default Miles are only one parameter. Maintenance, type of driving, and overall condition are relevant too.

I just think that $27K is an awesome price for these cars, even with 100K miles! You guys treat these cars like the plague, acting like they're going to blow up once they reach a certain mileage. I would rather buy a well maintained and highway driven 100K mile RS6 than a 25K mile example that has been beat on.

Default possibly, but mileage is mileage.

theres still maintenance that needs to be performed, and the risk of parts failing are higher imo.

Default Car has been recent nightmare at 83K...driven mildly and all scheduled....

service was done meticously since original purchase. Just got the car back from major repairs (turbos, seals, etc.).

Less than 2 weeks later after getting a clean bill of health from dealer, the car is now back in the shop with severe transmission problem.

It only has 83K, all stock, no tracking, and mostly interstate miles.

Default lets add up these costs to see if this is "value"

Since Feb of 2007 $14,444.55 has been spent THUS far for warranty work:

DRC Replaced (twice)
Drivers Seat Heating Element
Brakelight Switch
Cup Holder
Peeling Door Inserts
Both Rear Window Regulator
Driver Window Controls
Misc Vaccum Hoses

The car is at the dealer ship for the torgue converter, clock spring and DIS to get replaced.

btw i'm having fun...it was a short answer but a very important one...Having a warranty has added (okay KEPT) $20,000 in value.

Default I started having issues at 75K.....

Until then the car had been excellent. I certainly wish you continued luck and don't have to endure my recent history.
