2008 RS6 may be a turbo. This is not good news to me. Can anyone confirm?

My 70k mile TT RS6 and my 45k e46 M3 are rock solid.

Take care of them and they'll last forever. My e46 has been tracked hard and is holding up fine. My RS6 is a daily driver in sub zero and 110 plus temperatures and has been accross country twice in the last year.
Perhaps I've just been lucky, but I think these cars are built very well and will hold up (with the occasional hiccup) so long as you treat them responsibly.

DSG?
I'm counting on V10 TT at this stage. Now for the real dealmaker/breaker. Since 6-speeds are totally out of the question and I've been beaten into submission on the point, please give me SOMETHING other than a big chrome sailboat-wheel T-handle with wood trim. Don't ask me to deal with park, neutral, reverse, drive, and all that minivan garbage please. At least tell me the DSG is in there so I can feel like I got SOMEthing beyond the A6 2.8 no-quattro transmission. No silver T-handle with burl wood buttons.. PLEASE. No 2-second delay and power-cut/forward-lurch when depressing the gas pedal for acceleration.

I would supercharge my B7 if APR can get their act together.
They have been on the verge of releasing a supercharger for the B7 S4 for almost a year. They have been saying "next month" since last March.

I'm with you on this one. I don't want a twin turbo V10 w/tip either.
But a DSG? I highly doubt it will happen, so it's probably going to be a Tiptronic or nothing. I'll just have to get used to the tip.
