Default 25,000 mile check up next Monday and other than a broken arm pad ....

that just broke @ the stress point I can't think of much to complain about.( hopefully dealer will replace under warranty but who knows yet )

Car is running great mechanicaly and the "power streering moan" is still there once in a while to but untill dealer see's it happen they can't fix but its sure docmented

My onstar has been right scince they did the upgrade and no issues there.

I am really surprised with the brakes and they have been exceptional other than the once in a while sqeak I get and I think all that stuff might get replaced by what others have posted here close to there 25k check up to.

All above took into consideration,

I still love my RS6 and glad of the descision to get my other S4 and this particular audi as well

Going to get my warranty use out of this car.

I will let you guys know what they say they do when I take it in.

Default My armrest is broken, too!

Plastic junk. However, I would like to know what your dealer says about it, as I had intended to mention it to mine on the next service appointment.

Thanks,

CW

I just had my center armrest replaced under warranty last week with no questions. I actually called the service writer and he ordered a new one without seeing the broken one (one of the plastic hinges had broken). Now if I could get the brakes to stop squeaking.

Default I'd be particularly curious as to whether they change brake pads/rotors,

or how much wear they have had if they aren't changed (assuming that you are still on the orignals). I am at 22k, and at 15k my pads were worn 50 pcnt. Dealer said they should make 25k without an issue, but I'm not so certain. I know driving styles play tremendously into pad wear, still would be curious to know. TIA

It's no wonder, with the weight of your guns on that flimsy thing!

Default Re: I bought the car @ 12085 miles and if I remember right they already replaced pads but not ....

sure about rotors.
He did the 15k right before I picked it up so to be checked out thoroughly before I took possession.
Or maybe they did replace both.
Anywho I will check the old owners records (in glove box) and see what exactly they did and post all after the service .
