I'm not hating, I think the RS6 is sick but we did quite a few WOT pulls sat night and I know it would be pretty tight with a few mods.

with as many normally aspirated mods as possible, isn't even close. In any gear. At any time. In any condition. (Except for when my tranny was blown.) Just look at my sig pic for my R32 mods. My RS6 is bone stock. My R32 should be faster than your GTI stock versus stock and I went head to head against my own RS6 while I was driving my R32 and it was flat out ugly. To make matters worse, my Dad was driving my RS6 and he never left 5th gear. We rolled from about 60.
Now, when I have my HPA turbo installed next week, then we have ourselves a game!
I'm not a hater either but just seeking the truth.

All I'm saying is the gti put up a good show and with a chip and turboback the power to weight number get pretty close, so a 60-90 mph run would be close but the RS6 would win. What kind of #'s are you going to be getting after the turbo? That sh*t should be scary fast.

it starts off life as a single turbo system good for 400 hp, but then in about 90 days when the second intercooler arrives along with a few other goodies such as reinforced connection rod bearings and slightly different mapping, it boosts output to 450/415 hp/trq.
I'm a little concerned about what it's going to do to the transmisison, but we'll just have to find out! I figure the clutch will go up in smoke too, but I'll have a South Bend clutch installed instead.
Handling wise, the car is dialed in to road course racing like you wouldn't believe but it's weakness, which was the lack of power which at 240 stock is not bad, really showed itself at Road America last year. Couldn't hang with the big boys but my ability to carry greater speed through and out of turns helped. This should be the missing piece for this car.

HPA 450hp set up

Are you posting on any vw forums? I've been checking out the vortex, not as mature as AW but seems to have the most action. For my dub I'm thinking Giac 93, euro springs, rear sway, euro switch, tint and B7 RS4 18's from hartmann, not sure what to get for rubber. That'll do for now. . . .then I'll get into brakes, turbo back, intake and coilovers.
