to Daytona. Dealer has overnighted parts as I was under 12K warranty period by less than 300 miles. Phew!!!!!
Now- I have to hope the repair goes well. Otherwise, I may have to do my laps on a Shetland pony.

I had the entire DRC replaced -again- in June/08. The dealer inspected it about three weeks ago and gave clean bill of health.
I decided to let an independent shop inspect it this morning as I was nearing the 12K limit. The bad news is that the front shocks are leaking- the good news is that I made it by a breath under the warranty expiration.
The dealer/tech say they will do whatever they can to get me on my way to Daytona. However; not a warm fuzzy feeling due to the history of these parts.

so don't think they can get away from it, plus front is very bouncy again. Hope they get it fixed for you in time. So badly wanted to do Daytona this year and started to pay for it but the economy let me down...needed the bonus to pay for the trip but no bonus till early next year when funds are available. Oh well, at least i have a job i still do not have to worry about.
