Full reimbursement for KW, and prior out of pocket DRC repairs.
AoA rocks (and all of us that urged Audi towards resolution) for stepping up to the plate on this issue. These recent actions have certainly restored confidence in Audi that had been lost.

The problem with Audi is that this is 2009 on a car that started having problems as early as 2003/2004. Even though the response now seems very good, just think of how many gave up after a lot of time and expenses and have left the Audi fold for BMW & Mercedes and others that have had much better customer service, at least in North America. Audi will never be a leader in North America, even with superior cars unless they get Audi of America straightened out, I can't vouch for their customer service in the ROW but maybe others can pipe in.

Agreed- but better late than never; and the journey towards the customer relations holy grail begins with a step. For the most part, I've actually had a pretty good experience with my dealership- the exception being the DRC issue.
AoA deserves recognition for this signficant - albeit slow- effort to bring a resolution to the table. This AoA effort has put Audi back on my selection list for vehicle purchases. With hindsight being 20/20 for most reasonable persons- I imagine Audi wishes they had taken care of this issue much sooner (i.e. when us canaries began singing long ago about the problem).
