Default To change, or not to change the transmission fluid at 75k miles...
Lets hear it, good idea, bad idea?

Thoughts on why it is or is not safe to do, and if it is safe, till what milage is it till?

Anyone with experiance on this matter?

Thanks for any info on this!

Default Why would it not be good or safe? I did mine at 40K and I'll do it again around 75~80K.
I went with Redline D4 fluid and a new filter of course.

Because the fluid has never been changed, worried about releasing build up with new fluid at 75k

Even though it is old fluid there won't be a build up with the synthetic there.

I had a transmission gasket leak around 45K.
They had to replace the gasket which resulted in draining and new fluid - fluid change.
No Issues! I don't see why you would have issues.

I would say never too late. Their is a procedure in the ZF manual, Audi just has other ideas.

Default Mine was done at 78K for the first time...
I had the PRDNL light up and shifting seemed a little off. Changed fluid & filter and no problems since with tranny.
