Default Dad curbed 2 rims

So what are my options here? Replacement, fixing them? Can you even fix curb rash?

Maybe he has to buy 2 new wheels, stinks. Anybody sell OEM rims besides the stealer?

I posted this on RS6.com too, not sure which site you all hang out at.

Nice 7 days of ownership and now this.

Default "I don't know how I did it, I was driving and just barely touched the curb on a turn"

Front rim has a small chip and some rash on the spokes. Rear rim has the white scrape probably 1/4 of the way. I'll get some pics.

Default Can be fixed.

I had my local Audi dealer fix one of mine. They have a guy who comes around once a week and provides the service for them. Cost was $125, guaranteed. Looks absolutely brand new.

Default Ditto. Same experience here. Most dealers have a "wheel guy"

In many cases he'll come in when you come in, repair the wheel right there & you're done. Mine were repaired twice early on, as I got used to the car's wider stance -- easy to do! But also, lucky for me at least, easy to fix.

Default Repair best option. Had it done to two of mine at dealer - can barely tell

any difference from new. Clairparts.com has the best price for new OEM that I have seen if you want full new replacements.

Default Did the same thing in February, easy fix at dealer...

I posted pictures then on the forum, and the repair has held up well. You cannot tell where on the wheel it was carried out, now 6 months later. $125 at the dealer, much better than replacing a wheel!

https://forums.audiworld.com/rs6/msgs/12109.phtml</a
