Default Or you can watch me run down a Black Edition C63 AMG in my R32 at Daytona!

Want me to link it????? They are extremely fast cars and he would pull away from me a bit in the straights but can't negotiate turns or repeated braking all too well which is where I climbed all over him and eventually passed him. Yet still, this is the Black Series or whatever they call it so it's supposed to be up to the challenge.

The RS6 is much easier to find. 2.7t manuals are rare, almost impossible with the sport seats.

Default In this video I dispatch of a modified 996, the APR VW, a C5 ZO6, a Black Edition C63 AMG and

a few other cars as well. The C63 is tough to catch on the straights, but I do.

As for the APR VW, that was testing day and it pained me to pass them as I am one of their sponsors (Team Janica Racing) as I also sponsor the individual pro drivers on the team but hey, that car belongs in a Street Tuner class so I knew I was going to run them down.

Nonetheless, a fun time once again at Daytona.<ul><li><a href="http://youtube.com/watch?v=e1XGFi18hx4">Click</a></li></ul>

Default Does that thing hike a hind quarter when entering a corner? :^)

Thanks for the vids.

Can you lift a front tire exiting a corner?

Street car on (semi) street tires with only about 350 hp.

Default Nope. The Stasis Ohlin set up with the springs keeps all 4 planted. And it doesn't rattle either.

I was lifting a rear wheel ala' dog pissing style with my KW V3's but I don't think we ever had the suspension dialed in right either. The Stasis Ohlins are phenomenal but it took us quite a while to dial it in right too. You don't want too much stiffness. I know I'm being Captain Obvious here but 4 wheels is better than 3 wheels, especially on an AWD car with locking front and rear diffs.

Default Didn't realize the R32s were AWD

Guess I'm not that much of a car guy anymore.
Very nice video.
Comments:

1. Handles about the way I would expect for a car with 65 percent of the weight up front. Excellent job of keeping that polar moment of inertia in check. Especially the mid corner throttle corrections. Car behaves nicely to inputs. Cheers to your suspension Guru.

2. OMFG! has that thing got a lotta torque. You seem to have power anywhere you want it. Like I said previously, well over 400 HP, right?

3. Dispatched the C5 pretty quickly. I've lost my love for those things after lapping RA in one and seeing how poorly they handle against pretty much anything else. Horsepower can only mask so many evils.

4. Was there any doubt that you'd eat a C63?

5. I wasn't so impressed with the track **** at Laguna, but I'd be afraid to meet that thing on a track now. Maybe we can meet up at RA or Autobahn in the spring so I can learn some humility. You seem to know that thing pretty well now.

6. Thanks again for the help at Laguna last year. I really like showing up with no tools and no options, but sometimes a tire pressure gauge is necessary. I'm usually not that lame.

7. More videos please.

Thanks. Always enjoy your videos. How would your 996 stack up against the R32 on a track?
