Here we go again!
When I got my beast in January the front DRC segments were replaced (struts, central canister..). In September the left rear strut and centrial canister were replaced. All was under warranty. Now I am at 51K miles. The car is CPO. Now they say both rear struts are leaking and that the struts are not covered under the CPO warranty.
I do understand that the parts that were replaced in September should be covered because there is as 12 month 12K warranty on warranty parts. They are looking into what exactly might be covered and what not.
Anyone know about the status of CPO warranty for the rest?
If not covered I'm seriously thinking about Stasis/Ohlin...where have folks gotten it and for how much?
Thanks!
Love the beast, not so psyched about DRC....

but note the recent posts here and on rs6.com regarding a DRC-like 'clunk' that some are experiencing with the Stasis setup. Given that issue, if I replace my DRC (which is noisy only on brick pavers, otherwise OK), it will be with Bilstein PSS9s.

...at least it was at Laurel Audi in Tinley Park, IL and is at Continental Audi in Naperville, IL. Both replaced the central valves (many times, actually) and various struts over multiple repairs and I've only paid $50 once at each dealer ($100 total out of pocket for 8 valves and 6 struts).

They said the parts are not covered under CPO but that the warranty parts warranty (12K miles, 12 months) may have covered things if the earlier repairs had been done under the full factory warranty.

That is the complete opposite of my experience.
I've got the service invoices right here and both DRC repairs Continental did are listed as "Audi Assured" (CPO).
The first had a deductible of $50; the second was "free."
